HT-2401G connects through 4G and is controlled in the HONEST-IOT App. Overseas versions include one year of data; no on-site Wi-Fi router is needed.
Fields, pump rooms and irrigation equipment are not always within Wi-Fi coverage. A handheld remote may also be insufficient once you leave the site.
Where suitable mobile coverage and service are available, a 4G controller connects your equipment for operation from a phone.
The overseas HT-2401G uses 4G. In the HONEST-IOT App, you can switch pumps, set schedules and manage devices. Local buttons remain available, and configurations supplied with a remote also support handheld operation.
How does 4G pump control work?
Your phone sends a command over the network to the controller, which switches the pump through the installed control arrangement.
- 01HONEST-IOT AppSelect the pump and press ON or OFF
- 02Network serviceTransfers your command to the site
- 03HT-2401GReceives the command through 4G
- 04PumpStarts or stops through the installed circuit
The controller uses 4G, so no Wi-Fi router is required at the pump. Your phone can use mobile data or Wi-Fi to access HONEST-IOT.
Before first use, check the 4G connection at the actual controller location, register your account and bind the device. Pump-room walls, metal cabinets and antenna placement can affect reception.
Prepare these three things before use
1. Tell us where you will use it. Provide the country and installation region when ordering, including projects in Indonesia or Vietnam. We will match an overseas 4G version to the local network.
2. Check 4G reception at the installation point. Test where the controller and antenna will sit. In pump rooms and metal cabinets, place the antenna according to actual reception.
3. Bind the device in HONEST-IOT. Install the App, register your account and add the device using the supplied instructions. You can then view and operate your pump.
Overseas versions include one year of data. Contact us, the manufacturer, to renew when the service period ends. Power-loss alerts are primarily sent by SMS to your phone and are supported in regions where mobile control is available.
Four steps from installation to the first remote start
Step 1: Check the equipment and installation plan
Prepare the pump nameplate, supply details and existing control-cabinet information. Have a qualified installer determine wiring, contactors and protection. HT-2401G applications using 380V require an AC contactor; the controller supply range alone does not determine how a load is connected.
Step 2: Connect and bind the device
Add the device in HONEST-IOT following the supplied instructions. Choose a recognisable name: “East irrigation pump” is easier to identify than “Device 01”.
Step 3: Test with someone on site
Have a person observe the equipment while another operates it remotely. Check the target device and displayed state before setting schedules or sharing access.
Step 4: Test your everyday functions
Check App control, local buttons, the optional remote, schedules and alert settings. Keep the results for training and handover.
What can you see besides ON and OFF?
The HT-2401G LCD and HONEST-IOT App show voltage, current, load power, ambient temperature and humidity, and switching state.
These readings help with daily checks, but switching state alone does not prove water has reached the field. Ambient humidity is not soil moisture. Check actual flow, water level and irrigation results on site or with suitable monitoring equipment.

Frequently asked questions
Can I use it without on-site Wi-Fi?
Yes. The overseas HT-2401G uses 4G. With a working controller connection and data service, and an internet-connected phone, you can operate through HONEST-IOT.
Do timers and cycles continue if the network is lost?
Yes. While the device remains powered, already configured timers and cycles continue offline. Remote commands and changes to settings require the network connection to return.
How do I renew the included data?
Overseas versions include one year of data. Contact HONEST directly to renew after that period.
How will I know about a power outage?
Power-loss notifications are primarily sent by SMS to your phone. This function is supported in regions where mobile control is available, helping you arrange an on-site check.
Can I operate without my phone?
Use the device buttons, or the handheld remote if you selected a configuration that includes one.
